Privacy Notice
This site handles personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. What follows is the plain version.
What is collected
Nothing you have to give. There is no account, no registration and no newsletter. You can read every page without submitting anything.
Analytics, automatically. Pages visited, time on page, the site or search that sent you, approximate location at city level, device type, browser and operating system. IP addresses are handled by the analytics provider in truncated form.
Cookies. Two kinds. Analytics cookies measure which pages get read. Affiliate tracking cookies record that you left this site through a particular link, so that a commission can be attributed if you later sign up.
If you email. Whatever you put in the message, plus your address.
What is not collected
No payment details. No identity documents. No gambling account credentials. No betting history. None of that ever passes through this site, because the site has no cashier, no login and no connection to any operator’s account system.
If a page ever asks you for a password, a card number or a copy of your ID, it is not this site.
Who it is shared with
Analytics provider. Aggregated usage data, under their own privacy terms.
Affiliate networks and operators. The fact that a visit came from this site, through tracking parameters in the link. They do not receive your identity from us, and what they collect once you are on their site is covered by their privacy policy, not this one.
Hosting provider. Standard server logs, including IP address, retained for security and kept for a limited period.
Nothing is sold. No data is handed to advertisers for profiling.
Cookies, and turning them off
Every browser can block or delete cookies. Blocking analytics cookies changes nothing about how this site works for you. Blocking affiliate cookies also changes nothing for you, it only means a signup cannot be attributed here.
Browser-level do-not-track and private browsing both reduce what is collected.
How long it is kept
Analytics data is retained for 14 months and then deleted automatically. Affiliate tracking cookies expire on their own, usually within 30 to 90 days depending on the network. Emails are kept while the conversation is live and deleted afterwards.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask what personal information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted. Write to [email protected] and expect a reply within 30 days.
If a response is unsatisfactory, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Children
This site is for adults. Gambling in Australia is restricted to people aged 18 and over, and nothing here is directed at anyone younger. No information is knowingly collected from minors.
Changes
This notice can be updated. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and the version shown is the current one.
